West Midland Star of the Liberal Democrat Rally

The Liberal Democrats held a rally as part of the conference this evening, one of the stars of the show was Birmingham Perry Barr Candidate Councillor Karen Hamilton.

The rally was addressed by Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg, Former Leader Charles Kennedy, TV personality and campaigner Floella Benjamin, and candidate for Birmingham Perry Barr Councillor Karen Hamilton.

Each set out their reasons why only the Liberal Democrats can deliver a different, better Britain. Councillor Karen Hamilton outlined how she has already made a difference in Birmingham since becoming a Councillor five years ago and chairing a Council Committee.

Chair of Wolverhampton South West Liberal Democrats Colin Ross said "Karen is a great friend of Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats having been across and helped us in the past and is a great ambassador for the West Midlands. I hope, and expect, her to be successful in the General Election and to become the next Member of Parliament for Birmingham Perry Barr."
